This is meant to be a fun dungeon crawler type game, a departure from my usual serious and complicated plots. We're roughly basing the story on ADOM so as to have SOME sort of direction and keep lazy ol' me from having to come up with my own setting.

However, I don't think I'll actually convert every race, class and god to D&D 4e. I want to try 4th edition as it is, and get used to the rules, so we'll just go with the standard ones to make this less complicated.

Roguelike Adventures will be run using the core books (D&D 4e Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, Monstrous Manual). As a player you should really only need the Player's Handbook.

The game itself is run on OpenRPG. We'll be on the Roleplay Refugees server, unless it's down (Veav I is probably our backup). The usual room is “D&D 4e Roguelike!” The password, I'll give you myself, though it probably won't change from the first one I specified.

Character sheets you can use can be found here. They're in editable PDF format. Once you've filled it out you can email it to me, I'll give you my gmail address if you don't have it already. Just remember to resend it whenever you update the sheet, so I can have a current version of it.

For stats we're using the rolling method (4d6, keep 3, rolled 6 times). You'll roll 'em on OpenRPG with me watching.

You start out as level 1 characters. No other restrictions, beyond that you only use material in the Player's Handbook to create your character. You should *probably* stick to Good or Unaligned in terms of alignments / deities, too.

Instead of the basic 100 gp for starting level characters, you start with 200.

Arzu Khamsin - Enigmatic Tiefling rogue, chatty and outgoing, but loyal first to herself. Prays to Sehanine now and then… when she feels like it.

Najhir Arjhan - Dragonborn cleric of the Raven Queen, combating the Undead in her name. He seeks the Demon Prince Orcus, to bring him to his final rest.

Siduire s'Elevi - THE Siduire, elven fighter of doom! Worships Kord, wields scimitar and shield to slash 'n bash the hell out of her foes.

Nothing yet! They're all still adventurin' newbs.

We'll be rolling initiative every turn instead of sticking with the same order throughout an encounter. Delaying one's turn should still work pretty much the same way.
