Reborn Again is a Breath of Fire fanfiction I wrote, my version of a modern Breath of Fire world, 500 years after the events of Breath of Fire 3.
Destiny's End is set ten years after the end of Reborn Again (an ending I never actually finished, but have conceived of for several years). In this version, the Destined Cycle has been eradicated, the Reborn no longer bound to it as the saviors of mortalkind. The Dragons, similarly freed from the yoke of destiny, continue to exist under the leadership of the young Ryu Luxdragon, who has been working tirelessly to reform the Dragon Clans into a race that may once again assimilate with the world above ground.
Without Ladon's Destiny in place, mortals must now learn to protect themselves against the continued demon threat that, strangely enough, has not ceased since Myria has returned to her seraphic throne, never to meddle with the mundane world again. Deep in the bowels of Infinity, Myria's forgotten children – bred from her resentment, her rage and sorrow, her madness born from love – still breed and bide their time, waiting for their turn to emerge once more into the light.
We will be using Big Eyes, Small Mouth (BESM) 3rd edition rules.
For now, assume 400 points (Mythical level.) It's less than I originally thought I'd give, but not by much, and alleviates my concern people will get too powerful too soon. (I will be giving 2-3 CP a session.)
