Woo, I ran Valeriya's intro and it was okay! ^_^ No anxiety attacks or anything!

I still got nervous, of course, and I did have my famous spiked coffee, but it went all right. o.o Much to my surprise, 'cause it's pretty intimidating RPing a canon char as big as Mnemon is. But I'm glad Valeriya got to start with me in a good mood, 'cause I won't be as nervous for the next time (and the next, and the next).

'Course, there's still the obstacle of running combat with her. And this is like... small army urban combat. With warstriders. How I will manage that, I am not very sure. :D Same with actually getting the PCs to meet, though that will take the next intro bit (coming Monday, assuming I can write something for it this Sunday) to figure out more.

YAY! I finished Clarissa's character sheet and biography. :D (Note: Both are in MS Word. May have a wiki version later.)

I'm so relieved it's done with. ;.; I didn't have to put as much work into the chara as I did, but I really wanted her history to be believable, and in line with what I chose for her character sheet. I guess I felt pretty sensitive about it because I had to get poor Clarissa plenty of flaws to have both Celestial Sorcery and martial arts (she hasn't mastered any MAs, though).

Her description + bio turned out to be five pages, single spaced, in Times New Roman 12pt. Still longer than I would've liked. :P Then again, Clarissa is 57 years old, so there was a lot to detail!

Now I just need Selina to look at and approve it all.

Like it says. The immigration meeting was short. Once all the documents were looked over I was given a 60 day extension while my file is processed on priority. Yes, more processing! :P But this time I don't have to physically go to a meeting. They'll call us instead, and it probably will take longer than our upcoming vacation anyways.

It's pretty much good news... they said I'd even get another extension if my application takes longer to process. The only thing is, I don't know whether the final processing will be in my favor or not. :P Well, there's not really much reason why it wouldn't be, but I'm paranoid! So I don't think I am totally out of the water yet. We've done everything right so far though (Jon even consulted several lawyers in case we would have to choose one for my defense), so that can only be good... right, right? O.O

I'ma go out today now, I want to go buy a copy of the Ex2 Blessed Isle book so I can plan for ED: Imperial City while on vacation next week. :D Also I feel like relaxing with Sims 2 tonight so I am going to put the character sheet on hold a bit longer. =_= Better than being burnt out. :P

Finally! He was a damn pain in the arse. But I owned him hard. :D Fenrir is the boss of the first stratum in Etrian Odyssey. Man, considering that I bought this game... what, a couple months ago? It's kinda sad it took me that long to beat the first boss of the game. Ha! But I trained something like 10 characters up to level 15-17 in the process, trying to find the ideal group to take him on with.

I think I originally said I took Mellauna to fight him, but I ended up replacing her because she just wasn't doing enough damage to take Fenrir down quick. I found out that once you get rid of Fenrir the other wolves in the area disappear too, so it's better to hit him hard and fast, and get rid of him before the wolves swarm you. So, I brought Talliska in to replace her, gave her the best bow I had (Beast Bow), good items to pump her defense and speed, and trekked back down to the bottom of the Emerald Stratum.

So naturally, I've been reading it. The going is slow, because Jon and I are reading it aloud to each other, and speech is slower than just scanning text. At this rate it might take us days to finish Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but it's lots of fun to read it together and discuss plot points along the way. ^^;

Tomorrow, we have to do more running around to complete my permanent residency application... gotta get my picture taken, and also need to work out some agreement with my parents. *sigh* not looking forward to that, but I can't just pull $550 out of my arse. =_= But I'm pretty sure I'll be about by Friday evening. I'm thinking of running some ED mini things then, but that kinda depends on Lumi... who seems to have disappeared today ;.; [Edit: she's back and okay! yay~!]
