Most epic event. EVER.

WOW. Lyras is gone for good and so are her minions Sahfra and Tachid. Jon and I stayed up long hours playing, it was challenging and SO much fun.

Jon (as Alexsei) was running triage in the temple for the White Rose and I (as Talliska) was doing Rescue Team work, dragging bodies to the safe spot inside the temple grounds.

The temple itself needed its orbs charged with mana to keep up its defenses and power the rituals that the Cleric and Empath guildleaders were doing. So I had Ryshassa (who's on a secondary account now) running around bringing people up to the orb when Talliska wasn't out rescuing.

We had to charge pretty much continually, too. So that required pulling in a LOT of people. Ryshy got two RP awards for it, and Talli's got plenty of them during the string of invasions since Thursday. It's just been SO fun we couldn't stop playing. The RP opportunities, the danger, the thrill of finding out what comes next!

We even managed to do some White Rose recruiting at the same time. We're just that awesome. Alexsei has gotten SO many accolades as White Rose Triage Director, I'm so proud of him! Mialeigh (my awesome DR friend) too!

Anyway I am SO satisfied but also exhausted and now going to sleep :D

As a replacement for actual interesting posts (read: life updates and such) I am posting about something that gets me excited in a dorky way.

Namely getting Talliska to circle 50 in DR. :D It actually surprised me mainly because I had no idea the DR GMs watch for people getting milestone circles. Interesting!!

(My hubby just nuzzled me because he thought my excitement was cute. Hee.)

Another dorky tidbit: Jon and I bought Ace Attorney Investigations and are on the final case. This game is a lot of fun! Yay for Ace Attorney.

I'm SO worn out lately... Just churning out these recruiting lessons for the White Rose over and over. :x

I've written and tested 6 out of 7. Of course, I won't take all the credit, Samarah has done plenty of work on her part as well. She's writing the scripted versions, I'm writing the notes versions. Sometimes our opinions on how lessons are arranged differ slightly; that means I have to do more writing to arrange it as I see fit.

I have never done so much work for a Dragonrealms organization in my LIFE until now. I bet you COLLEGE will be easier. *smirks* But I love what I'm doing because the Order needs the foundation of the recruiting program. Even if I or Samarah are gone, other people can take what we've written down and do good things with it.

Sure it's just a game. But... it's a GOOD game. And I'm even learning good teamwork, writing and editing skills. So it can't all be bad!

With my next bit of news, though, I've entered a whole new level of DR crazy.

But I'm sitting here playing DR on the new year. Yeah, I'm a dork. Jon and I have our hotel reservation and stuff, though! We just wanted to do it post holiday so it wouldn't be too crazy outside. I'm not one for loud noises and crowds. :(

Talli is circle 44 now. Flying through the ranks with my improved scripts (need to write a short bow one now!) In fact I've been scripting all day while beating my head over this horribly difficult post in Soul Collectors which I FINALLY finished. x.x I am seriously hating Exalted combat right now. I either need to be better organized, or White Wolf needs to stop having rules for similar concepts (i.e. mutations, undead, etc.) spread over TOO MANY different books.

On the other hand Selina said she might run a FFT game and let me play a viera in it. Sounds fun. We are both going to be busy with college entry stuff this Jan, though. Ugh, not looking forward to it, I've been procrastinating this time around because of how discouraged I felt last time I applied but couldn't go. I intend to send before Jan 15 though, one way or another. I just hope they won't need more of my transcripts. Gah.

We're gonna have fondue and booze now, so... woo! (AND I'm going to try and sneak a couple more posts in before then. I wanted to do them before but that Soul Collectors post just KILLED all my time.)

This is a document I've been working on for the Order. It's a rough draft and likely needs correcting. It may not even be any use to anyone besides myself. It's not meant to give to recruits, more as a collection of info Talliska will cover with them face to face, possibly over multiple interactions.

I am posting it in its current state just 'cause I sat here and worked on it long enough that I might as well share it! :P
