I ended up having to go to sleep because of aforementioned headaches. But I was woken up a few hours ago because Talli was summoned along with Alexsei and other members of the White Rose by General Zukir of Zoluren. I was groggy and kinda freaking out, but it turned out to be a good thing: Talli and Alexsei were both awarded for their recent service in the Naarg invasions.

Getting awarded by a GMPC is a new thing to me, so poor Talli was pretty stiff and awkward in accepting it. I've never done anything in DR with an expectation of reward, so it was a touching and humbling gesture. I was especially glad for how good it looked for the White Rose!

Sure it's not the real world, but making a difference still makes one feel accomplished. Especially when it can be challenging to do so as a PC in Zoluren, where it can be difficult to get people to agree and work together on anything. Now if only I could take that energy and communication skill and do something real with it!

I'm thinking of recreating Talliska's journal, 'cause I feel kind of dorky nowadays writing about her accomplishments in an OOC journal. As it stands, I really badly need to rearrange the tags here; it's become bloated with 1000+ nodes. Oh well, some day...

Which is kind of silly when I think I'll probably be changing layouts again with Drupal 7 (unless this one gets an update for 7), but still...

Mostly got rid of a lot of extra spacing and weirdly large fonts for blockquotes and comments. I pared them all back down to 1em. I guess I'm just not into super large fonts, or text with varying sizes. I dunno. It looks weird to me. If I want larger fonts I'll just increase the zoom on my browser.

I also finally found a trick to get rid of the views horizontal scrollbar annoyance in Drupal 6:

div.view div.views-admin-links { width: auto; }

Nothing big, I just couldn't figure out which way to edit width to make the scrollbar stop showing. I also tried overflow but that didn't work.

Next maybe I'll edit my tag list and streamline my categories... ha, yeah right! n.n

So I'm probably not going to do much this weekend concerning the slicehost (it is week 2 day 1! hrm!) I might even want to concentrate some effort on doing some tag rearranging here, but every time I say this, I get lazy. SO LAZY! All my mind wants to do is write lately.

Though it seems my creativity is at an all time high lately (except for Five Coils, hmm I wonder why...) I even started up another rpol forum, though just for game planning right now.

I posted something there I wrote up for the OVA game which is tentatively called "Rose Revolution Redux". Here it is, just so I have it on my journal too. ^^

Ahhh, spam comments. Either my captcha isn't working as well, or real people are being hired to post those things. The latter is so much sadder, but I would believe it happens. (Why my site though? WTF? I don't get that much traffic.)

For now I just keep deleting them as they come up. Mrr, need to really do another tag-cleaning/rearranging though. I keep procrastinating. ;.;

Jon and I are going out today and will be seeing Inglorious Basterds (the new Tarantino movie with Brad Pitt, and nazi-killing, apparently!) Man I am so going to welcome a break from the computer. I'm having more rpol troubles lately. :/ Again, I don't feel right writing about any details here. It's just discouraging, the sort of discouragement that makes me wonder if it's worth my effort to continue running games.

I'm totally beat though so I don't know I'll really be around much till tomorrow. I have Wardragon then anyways so I'll be around pretty much all day Sat. playing that. Also updating all my RPoL posts, and writing info for Dynastic Moon. I'm a busy writin' lady.

Jon and I really had a great time, two of our best days together in a while. :D We stayed at a nearby hotel, as I mentioned, a great and high rated one. Not like, super expensive though. Just enough for what funds we had. We even got a suite upgrade for a small cost, so we spent a lot of time just lounging and relaxing in the room. We watched a movie there (Taken with Liam Neeson, which I really enjoyed actually, for reasons I may explain later) and lots of Star Trek and Stargate. Lol, we're dorks.
