I want to run more games (am I crazy?)

This week, I've been trying to rest more. I'm tentatively resuming Five Coils on Sept 13. I've been trying to kick the Academy into shape, though am unsure it's working. Wondering if I should try to get players from elsewhere, or just give up on the game and run something new when I'm more in the mood for it. (Soul Collectors 3.0, man, I still really want to run that game but am afraid I'll screw up or lose inspiration again. :/)

Outcastes is slow, but starting to reach the end of the current threads (FINALLY) so I am reserving some hope for it, particularly since I'm considering recruiting a couple more people (an Air Aspect and another Half-Blood). Not sure yet.

And there's other games I'm interested in running (no, not all at the same time):
- Celestial Exalts in the Threshold, aka 'vanilla Exalted' more or less.
- The Window RPG: I haven't forgotten this. Want to run it, considering a 'noir mystery' type game in a near-future urban fantasy setting.
- Emberdays: A revival? Is it worth it?
- FFRPG: Still definitely an adventure game. Not sure now whether I'd run Returners or the 2d6 system.
- Psyche Labyrinthine: My old D&D 4e idea, a solo game for Jon. :)

Lack of motivation... blah.

I've tried to make a post a couple of times, but I just can't put my feelings in words, for whatever reason.

Oh well...

I went out yesterday, which was actually pretty fun except for the fact I bought some clothes I'll probably have to return. :(

I'm not sure what's up with me lately. It's so easy to dive deep into depressive thoughts. I end up RPoL gaming a lot to keep my mind off it, but in the process keep my mind off everything else I should be doing, too.

That said I'm generally better today... but I'm in something of a state of limbo. I have all these things I know I should get done but I just sit here, instead. x.x

Last thoughts before daylight (heh!)

Laconica - OMG OMG! It's open source microblogging software!!!11oneoneeleven Hell yes. I can actually *install* this on my webserver. <3 Happy day!! I'll have to figure how to integrate with Drupal (possibly) but I am MUCH more comfortable with having it local than using twitter. (You can see Identica for a live version of this software.

Psyche Labyrinthine - I'm still doing it, but decided, once again, to switch back to Nucleus. All the features I ever want in a small site project always end up being available on Nucleus but poorly done in other similar software (IMO, anyway.) Though, Pivot COULD have been sufficient. The main thing that turned me off, besides the speed issues from using flatfiles, was that you just can't set it up so only registered users can make comments. As Psyche Labyrinthine is a private game, I really needed a solution that allows that.

Sailor Moon - Jon and I are starting to download the seasons one by one. Subbed version (because I like Haruka/Michiru, actually, and wanted to see a version of the series closer to 'pure'). We're on the original arc, episode ~5. I like watching it. n.n

Today's random thoughts n' feelings.

Panty by Post - I like this idea. Though I wouldn't want anyone besides my significant other to send me one. That would be awkward!

I am thinking of using Pivot for Psyche Labyrinthine. Just 'cause I thought it looked cool when I saw Rin's!

Eni showed me some database programming stuff I'll need to start working on for her. I'm pondering what language I will use to do the database functions.

Also I got a shiny email from Kalli. <3!

Ideas and stuff

I have a couple of ideas roiling around in my head right now.

One is a solo game I will hopefully be running for Jon! (more below)

The other is my Anima: Beyond Fantasy character, which I'm making for a short-term game that will be running on RPoL. I finally found someone who's willing to run the system, woo! I hope it actually takes off.

Anyway, I just wrote a small profile for my character concept (she is an Illusionist.) Nothing particularly special, just your usual escaped Arabian princess kind of story :P
