Today was better for going out, it was cooler (there was some rain). I had some stressful periods but mostly I was all right.

I went to a nice Spanish restaurant. Oh no, I forgot the name already. (Figures!) but I got to have paella again. I *love* paella. It's a dish with saffron rice and usually some chicken or seafood with it. We got paella de marisco, the seafood kind -- it came with a crab claw and a half-lobster, too. Jon's crab claw was so huge he spent half the meal trying to crack it, hehe.

We also got appetizers, mmm. A really tasty seafood pastry, and gazpacho soup. Jon was calling me a dork because I told him the only reason I knew gazpacho soup was cold was because of watching Red Dwarf. I guess it is kind of dorky. ^^;

My inlaws' dog doesn't like the other dog that's here right now. So he's barking a lot. And I don't blame the poor guy, he's old and usually has the whole house to himself, with owners that pamper him and keep him comfortable. While the other dog is much younger, larger, and more energetic.

Also, the bigger one peed on the bed while I was sitting here using the comp. :P

But mostly, all the noise is exacerbating my headache. And I feel weird with too many people here because I don't understand shit of what people are talking about. And I rarely get to be included because no one really gives any time for Jon to translate for me, along with the mutual shyness we all seem to have on either side of the language barrier.

Like, 5 or 6 of them, when Jon and I came home. o.O They were looking for someone in particular, but it wasn't us (uh I swear! we haven't done anything bad!) We're suspecting someone called on the people we heard last night 'cause it sounded like they were abusing their dog. It was only audible a short time, so we were gonna call the next time it happened. I wonder if they'd really bring 6 cops for just that, though. :P

Today was mostly going to the hair salon and getting my cut. I have really short hair now. I'm up in the air about how I feel about this, it's shorter than I was planning to get it cut. o.O But on the other hand, short hair is awesome with hats and hairbands and pins and stuff. Here are some pics I added to the Gallery, just look for the "New Hair" ones. They're just crappy ones snapped off my webcam, but I really like my polka-dot headband. :D
