Neat DS site!

Now to continue my tradition of "lets follow up depressing posts with something totally fun and unrelated!"

Tiny Cartridge! I like this site. It has an interesting and appealing design, too.I think the only thing that boggles me about the site is that I can't figure for the life of me how to move from older to newer posts.

Anyway, I was looking around for The Dark Spire music and came across that site because the webmaster posted a TOTALLY AWESOME TRACK on it. People were all "Ewwww" because it has a tenor singing on the track though. BOO on them. Vocalists always get flak from people who like game music, I find.

Tiny Cartridge also brought me to this: Cho Aniki for PSP. (Wat? :D) And also footage from an all-female Gyakuten Saiban musical, which I think is awesome because it's just the opposite of males crossdressing in visual kei (and I actually really like the blurring of gender lines, for some reason.)

Edit, again - Original Sound Version. Another awesome site but focused on game music! (This guy actually has pretty good taste, IMO.)

Yesterday and today (outings, video game ramble)

Yesterday (besides FINALLY! finishing a hueg load of RPoL updates I had to do -- I really need a break from it) I went out a bit. Seriously, I hadn't been out for almost 2 weeks I think. :/ So it was good to.

It's getting sunnier outside. It's still pretty cold, but it's not snowing much. I don't know if it's 'cause we're in Montreal (where it's a bit warmer/more humid) or just 'cause we aren't having a record-breaking winter like last year (WTF that was terrible! 500+cm of snow that season!)

Here I ramble more about Friday (and today's plans).

Iria Escaliere + shoppinz!

My Warhammer 40k: Dark Heresy character!

Stuff Jon and I got on Monday
- Music: albums by Dir en grey and Rosetta, oh and we actually grabbed GnR's Chinese Democracy. Which interestingly enough I actually like. :P
- Games: Lock's Quest (DS), Time Hollow (DS), Ace Combat: Belkan War (PS2)

Um... I'll update this later with impressions and stuff. *tired* So much RPoL catchup... I really need to cut down.

the better side to my outing :P

I bought stuff, too. with money I should have saved but eh.

music
- Metallica Death Magnetic
- Keane Perfect Symmetry

(heh I actually went for popular albums :P)

game
- From the Abyss (Nintendo DS game, it's a roguelike adventure thingy so I'm excited to try it. not to be mixed up with Tales of the Abyss for PS2)

these things will cheer me up, though as usual it will be fleeting. that's pretty much the extent of happiness I have in my life.

p.s. Outcastes is still going fine so far... I hope I will be able to keep it up...

Posting from my DS!

This is weird and slow to type with, but wow! I can load and post to my site with my DS. Cool. I don't have a cellphone so this is the best I have for handheld browsing.

We got to Montreal in the afternoon. Took some navigating gymnastics to get to our hotel, but here we are! The hotel wi-fi turnedout to be a very limited free, so we went to test the DS browser at a coffee shop with wi-fi access (the Second Cup).

I also have (had) the best hazelnut coffee ever. Mm. And I'm proud of how well my site scales on the DS screen!

Other than that, we spent the day exploring around (not in yet) the college campuses, then enjoying the hotel amenities. Cable TV is still a novelty for us! We want to try the hot tub / sauna too. Hey, if we're paying...

I'd write more but like I said it's pretty awkward to type on this. There are some things on my mind I may address later, or when we are back. Bye-bye for now! ^_^
