Looks like I won't be going to visit inlaws this week. It may be a couple weeks from now. Jon and I may take a day off toward the end of the week instead, maybe go and stay at a hotel for a night. :) We do that sometimes just to get away from distractions and be together.

Reasons for postponing the visit are many. Mood, bad timing, etc. One of the more important issues is that I'm waiting for my check card to come in and don't want to be away from the apartment when it comes.

Also, I'm trying to finalize my early withdrawal from Concordia. I'm not totally happy about it, as I've said before, but on the other hand knowing I'm NOT going has improved my mood somewhat. Before, when I was in this constant "I'm not sure if I'm going or not!!!" situation, the lack of certainty negatively affected my mood a LOT. Well, now I just won't reapply until I have all the other documents ready. :/ Which with lawyer help, I can only hope will be next year.

I'm totally beat though so I don't know I'll really be around much till tomorrow. I have Wardragon then anyways so I'll be around pretty much all day Sat. playing that. Also updating all my RPoL posts, and writing info for Dynastic Moon. I'm a busy writin' lady.

Jon and I really had a great time, two of our best days together in a while. :D We stayed at a nearby hotel, as I mentioned, a great and high rated one. Not like, super expensive though. Just enough for what funds we had. We even got a suite upgrade for a small cost, so we spent a lot of time just lounging and relaxing in the room. We watched a movie there (Taken with Liam Neeson, which I really enjoyed actually, for reasons I may explain later) and lots of Star Trek and Stargate. Lol, we're dorks.

Sooo I don't know if I will be around much today, I'm going out to explore another part of Montreal. There's a big gaming store there and I want to see it. May buy a RPG book or two, we'll see.

Tomorrow there is a DR event (White Rose ball) which I absolutely must be around for. n.n I feel like I've been slacking on PSU lately but between my hermit-hiding and various other stuff, I haven't had time to play at all. :( :( I could actually play PSU like, earlier in the day on Saturday though. Or later tonight.

Emberdays - not sure yet. x.x I'm starting to feel more like wanting to run it (being in games where people are all "KILL/TAKE OVER THE REALM!!" makes me all in a Dynast-playing mood, heh) but I feel bad about all the delays. :/ I'll give word about it by the weekend.

Annoyingly, I have both my headache acting up again and my ear infection (which fortunately was minor enough that it seems to be healing ok on its own). Blech, hope today will be fun and not pain.

Trying to write out my feelings after moving to Montreal is, again, something I've had a hard time putting in words.

My impressions of the city itself are easy enough. I like it so far... or at least the small part of downtown I live in, 'cause I've not had the opportunity to go very far yet. Hard to do really, what with all the errands we still have left, and a lack of money.

The conveniences here are better than I had in Quebec City. We have a grocery store just a couple blocks away. Few blocks in the opposite direction is a mall and the closest subway station. Within walking distance, there's plenty of other malls and restaurants. Same with my college of choice (it's only one subway stop away, so it's more worth walking it unless the weather truly blows.)

I've been having a hard time figuring out how to write entries lately, for some reason. Like so much has happened, or is in the process of happening, that I just have NO idea where to start, where to end and how to divide it up.

Well, to make it easy for myself I'll open with the easier topic, that is, my return to online life. :O

First thing I did coming back was get back on AIM and IRC, of course. That was on Friday. Immediately had a lot of chatting to do. ^^; I was missed, despite all my usual fears, and that was nice to know, even though for a while there I was thinking about not returning at all.
