Friday was my day to get out of the apartment for a while. Jon and I walked the whole distance to the mall, that was nearly an hour walk, but great exercise! Kinda tired me out, though, going all that way without even eating beforehand. :x

I almost bought a pretty dress on sale (it was really cute ;.; this kinda offwhite, with brown and burnt orange leafy patterns. I really like those colors on me.) But instead I went and got Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 for the DS. Does that make me a total dork, choosing video games over fashion? PROBABLY! :D

I came back and played some PSU (it was a lil late though, like 12 am) which was fun, since I haven't played in like 2 weeks. ;.; And then I talked to sis on Skype a bunch while training Talliska in swimming, skinning and combats. We had a nice conversation about various things. Nothing stressful, really. Work, games, etc.

So I'm back~

And we've got a lease for an apartment in Montreal. We put in the deposit, and are pretty much guaranteed to get it (apparently the landlady really likes us). We need to send over a few bits of information though, because we forgot to bring some documents. Wah.

Kalli was saying she helped us out by thinking about us getting a nice apartment the whole time. XD Woooo, voodoo powerz.

But it's a nice place. It's within walking distance of my college, a grocery store, pharmacy, hell... plenty of malls and restaurants too. It has a laundry room (mine right now does not. :O) It's on a low floor, which I really wanted -- I preferred having no one living below me so I could DDR to my heart's content. XD It's probably doubly as big as our current apartment.

I totally can't take this guy seriously.

"This guy" being Dov Charney, the CEO of American Apparel -- which I swear has to be the skankiest clothing store out there, with the equally skanky "hi! we're a bunch of amateur soft-core porn models" advertising. And let's not forget he does many of the photo shoots for said advertising himself. He specifically eschews touching the pictures up with Photoshop and whatnot, which I would applaud, except that the pics end up with something of a heavy-on-the-flash "Myspace whore" look to them. Nasty.

Oh and let's not forget to mention how open with his sexuality he is, including having relations with the younger girls he works with... of course, insisting that it's all consensual, and about sexual freedom, and he encourages a casual work place and so on.

Yesterday I woke up pretty late and in a bad mood. I took a couple hours to find something suitable (not wrinkled, not fitted badly, etc.) to wear, which usually indicates that I'm being pretty temperamental. Heh.

But Jon and I did end up going to the mall for an hour or so. Went and looked at video games, bought unimportant but necessary stuff at the pharmacy. I also bought a pretty ...dress/tunic/thing? I don't know what to call it, but it was on sale and it's predominantly purple and white with these tiny triangular designs on it, and a thin black ruffle trim. I liked it, anyway, and the fit is nice and flattering, and it was on sale. So it's mine now!

Then we got groceries, which took about an hour. Mmm, food. Once I got home, I really wanted to play PSU, but everyone was either gone, busy or tired.

Holy crap that was tiring. We just biked on the road near the farm. Lots of slopes and stuff. I don't think I was out more than 20 minutes but I'm pretty beat. Still plenty out of shape. ;.; I was nervous biking on the road 'cause I'm still unused to keeping my balance, so every time a car would come by I'd get really tense and grip the handles all tight. I have a scab on my finger now from it (cause of the friction from my bike gloves).

Also, my crotch really hurts, wow! I need to melt off more pounds just to lessen all that pressure. :P

Earlier we went out to the "mall," which is pretty small for a mall from my perspective, but is the biggest in town. Got myself a couple of tank tops and yet another pair of shoes out of the end-of-summer sales going on. ^^;; The shoes are cute though, mary-jane style with chunky platform heels. Looks REALLY good with the b&w striped socks I was wearing... I am gonna want to get another order from Sock Dreams now. :O

It's been a while now, but I want to at least *try* to catch up on my postings. I've just been so preoccupied lately that I've not really written. Mostly with RP, though I'm finally almost done with that until vacation time.

I wanted to write about my Thursday out, but my mind is totally blanking on what we even did. o.O That's kind of sad. Let's see...

I think we were going out to get me a swimsuit, actually. That's right. I actually managed to find one I like, but I don't look all that good in swimsuits in general, so "like" is relative here. (It's kinda like why I never wanted to post my gothloli pics. They turned out looking horrible... I need to stop being depressed and get back into exercising more. Weight loss is hard =_=) I also got one of those beach skirts with it so I don't have to feel as self-conscious wearing it. :P

Ugh. I'm really sick today. Late last night (after the ADoA scenes I played all day) was, let's just say, a high stress moment. So I was pretty worn out and depressed the entire night. Didn't help my throat ache much, so now it's even worse today. x.x

Jon got me some medicine so I managed to stay up for WD40K. Deirdre came up with a plan to bind the dead god in Binzheng, Shas Na. Did some prep rolls before we left, etc. But we still had to sneak across the city to get to where Shas Na is kept, and Archana screwed up her stealth roll. Figures, huh? :P I even tried stunting it, but I nearly botched it (spending a WP is what saved me). So now she's all Ivory Dragon Form and ready to kick ass. I hope getting caught doesn't ruin Deirdre's plan though. x.x

Today was... okay, and bad. At one point EMO bad. Basically, a couple days back I did something stupid, and got found out though I tried not to be, and it ended up somehow blowing all out of proportion with people paranoid and stuff. ARGH. Well, I learned my lessons and I explained to people what was up, so now it's better.

I feel like I am a bad friend to people sometimes. It really makes me sad to think I might have hurt or insulted someone I care about, even unintentionally. It's actually a quite dangerous feeling. People react to shame in different ways; mine comes out as a desire to withdraw from people and find some sort of twisted "relief" by debasing myself. Some way to show, in writing or in thought, that yes, I feel guilty -- I feel lower than dirt, and I'll show you exactly how low that goes.

Not much going on, just relaxing today! Started playing some FFXII again, but I seem to be stuck doing a bunch of training. ^^;; (Can't resist the License Grid shinies... :O) I did finally get to that viera town Lumi kept talking about, though. Talk about snooty! And why must they all wear lingerie, anyway? It must be special lingerie woven out of spiders that live in the Spiritwood! </pretentious> OH YEAH AND HUMES WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND. :D

I still like viera in general anyway, though. I mean, I liked them since FFTA! I want the one I create for Lumi's story (if she still wants me to) not to be like that at all. n.n I'll just have to come up with a "why" for her being abandoned at or turning up in Rabanastre. Though... I'm not sure how old she will be. I wanted her to be quite young, even if viera age very slow. Hey Lumi, do you know when viera reach physical adulthood? o.O;

Today we drove to the bigger mall an hour away from my inlaws' place to do some good ol' day after Christmas shopping! :D ("Bigger" in the sense that it's bigger than the one in this town, which is actually quite small.)

Oh but before I finish with that I'd like to thank people who read and responded to the last entry... makes me happy that words can bring good cheer! Hey, it's good to know when you're kinda on the poor side. o.o;;

I did get some Christmas money from my parents, though. And I went and spent it, like the material girl I am, hah! No, I didn't actually spend it all. But mmm. Sales. CLOTHES. n.n;;;
