NWN2 nights continue! :)

Last night Jon, Clark, Jim and I continued playing Neverwinter Nights 2. We had a lot of fun!

Jon's character (ack, forgot the name) is a Human Cleric who will be a Warpriest. :D No surprises there. He even plays kinda Alexsei-ish!

Clark is playing Senel Goldenbridge, I think he's a shield dwarf? Or some sort of dwarf. Started as a monk, but he's going to take full advantage of NWN2's weird rules for multiclassing. (Figures!)

Jim is playing an Earth Genasi he named Rocky McMeatshield (hehehe, continuing with the theme of the PSU character). He's pretty much a fighter who will continue to be a badass fighter. I don't know if he's interested in multiclassing or not.

And my character is Tezima Auraphel, a Tiefling Rogue I'll be making into an Arcane Trickster (likely Rogue 5 / Wizard 5 / Arcane Trickster 10).

Goodbye, PSU!

Clark, Jim, Jon and I played our last run of Phantasy Star Universe on PS2/PC tonight.

It was fun. :) We did a bunch of Crimson Beast and Lab Recovery S2 for old times' sake, since we used to grind those missions really often (back when those were the easiest of the S2s and we were like... 100 levels smaller, or something like.)

I took a whole bunch of screenshots throughout the last couple months of our PSU playing, and made sure to get plenty tonight as well. At the end of our last mission we ran around and shot missile weapons and too screenshots like they were fireworks. We also got a group pic of the veteran Guardian crew standing together looking badass: S0YL3NT-G (Clark), Furry McGrowlson (Jim), Shirai Aires (Jon), Reina Hidalgo (me).

I also made sure to get shots of Reina's room, her final stats and equipment, and even had her do some RP monologue (probably cause I'm a dork). Reina and Shirai shared a last moment together, too. It was sweet.

PSU for PC/PS2 is closing down March 31.

For 3 or 4 years now I've been playing Phantasy Star Universe every Friday and Saturday night (or most nights, anyway) with Clark, Jim and my hubby. Sometimes my sis joined in too. It was something we could look forward to doing every weekend... a constant in life.

By the end of 2009 I'd gotten my main character, Reina Hidalgo, very close to the level cap (160, or is it higher now, not sure). I maxed her levels in 6 classes: Fighgunner (still my favorite ever), Guntecher (my 2nd favorite, yay for bows!), Fortegunner, Fortefighter, Protranser (EX traps rule) and Acrofighter. I'm very close to maxing Gunmaster and was determined to start on Fighmaster next, the melee weapon equivalent to the Gunmaster class, more or less. (Spear is one of their favored weapons... I love spears!)

But now it's all going to be gone at the end of March. :( We knew this would happen, the PC/PS2 servers have such loooowww activity compared to Xbox servers. But it's sad to see. All those hours of play (over 1000), yet even if I did get an Xbox I wouldn't be able to transfer all those levels over.

Sleep... with a side of sleep

Man, been so tired these past few days. I've only been up 8 hours or so and want to sleep some more. Maybe I'll finally even out and start waking up normal hours again. *crosses fingers*

I've also been watching this awesome anime that Clark sent Jon and me (real DVD copies. Cause he got them from work, he works at Media Blasters.) It's called Twelve Kingdoms. It's another take on a popular anime theme, the "person from real life Japan gets thrust into a fantasy world" (think Escaflowne, Fushigi Yuugi, etc.) Except I'd rather compare it to Escaflowne because I actually *liked* that series. :D

And Twelve Kingdoms is also very good. The mythology and even the setting associated with it, have some elements that remind me of why I like Exalted. Probably because it seems strongly inspired by Chinese mythology. As for the eponymous kingdoms, they are each ruled by a king or queen assisted by a holy creature, a kirin. (I love kirin! awww unicorns. *ducks*) The kirin chooses the ruler, and so long as the king/queen rules the land justly, it prospers. Otherwise the kirin grows sick, the crops go bad, people revolt, etc.

Jon and I watched the first arc involving how the Queen of Kei (who was originally from Japan) was crowned. Looking forward to seeing more... after I have some epic sleepz! All I did of note today was RP Ryshy going shopping with Alexsei in DR, edit the document I wrote last post, and watch Twelve Kingdoms. Yet to me, this is an ideal vacation. Who needs the real world? :P

Saturday, restful! Sunday... more of the same!

Wardragon today!!! Yayayayayayay. :D

And Saturday was really a relaxing day. I didn't really do much of anything... except finally set up my netname on the Concordia site. Man, I can't believe I still have something like 5 months till I'll get a response... I suppose those months will go fast, but still, it seems like forever, still.

I messed with RPoL, as usual... Got to chat with Selina and Grey (he and I don't talk quite enough! and we should :o) and my sis (on Skype, anyway) and I played a bit more PSU (we got Phantom Fissure again, mmmm good drops).

I admit I kinda would like to RP more with Selina and/or Grey again :o I've been telling them about my RPoL games, though I also wouldn't be adverse to some OpenRPG stuff. I wonder if they'd play with Jon and we could have a small fun game. Something that ISN'T all bogged down 'cause of timezone issues, argh. Or they could get into my forum stuff, either way!

Here is another fun diversion Clark showed me: Alteil!
