Ahhh, spam comments. Either my captcha isn't working as well, or real people are being hired to post those things. The latter is so much sadder, but I would believe it happens. (Why my site though? WTF? I don't get that much traffic.)

For now I just keep deleting them as they come up. Mrr, need to really do another tag-cleaning/rearranging though. I keep procrastinating. ;.;

Jon and I are going out today and will be seeing Inglorious Basterds (the new Tarantino movie with Brad Pitt, and nazi-killing, apparently!) Man I am so going to welcome a break from the computer. I'm having more rpol troubles lately. :/ Again, I don't feel right writing about any details here. It's just discouraging, the sort of discouragement that makes me wonder if it's worth my effort to continue running games.

Actually, I'm getting better now. But yesterday I was pretty sick, and it sucked! I just sat here and ate a lot and drank a lot of fluids and took medicine. My body's already fought most of it off by today which is neat.

Poor Jon was sick longer than me. But he didn't even get any medicine. :( I should have bought it for him before but I was still all agoraphobic. I'm making him take the rest of my medicine now though.

Also: You people who are using my posts about sexual addiction to advertise an escort service are really messed up, k? I mean, that's like going to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting with a bunch of booze! "Hey guys, drink this! Your addiction needs quenching!!" :D :D I'm finding my CAPTCHA isn't deterring these, I had 3 distinct cases of this occurring. I will continue to erase them personally though, and if need be take greater measures!

I had no idea captcha was enabled for comments. Sorry people. I actually hadn't intended that, since there's already captcha for user registration and the mail forms. :P

Anyway, I will be going out today, gasp, probably to the Montreal planetarium! I've been locked inside too long writing code and RP posts, sheesh.

next things to work on
- Paypal donation button. Hopefully I don't chicken out on doing it again. Just to let people know, if I upgrade to the next level of VPS it'll be $60/month out of my pocket. Ouch, yeah. I expect to be slowly ramping up until I get a dedicated server, though, and those start at $100+ a month. (Also I won't be actually upgrading till my loans are squared away, so that may not be a couple months still.)
- bbpress dice roller plugin, 'nuff said. I'm all lazy after all the coding stress from the past couple days, but I really do want to get it done.
- Emberdays prep. Sheesh. I am so not sure how tomorrow will work out. But I'll give it a shot. :(

I was trying to install a captcha module for Drupal just now (because I just had to delete a couple of bogus users registering for an account... sigh) but it didn't work properly. Really sucks... I don't like having stupid spambots trying to make accounts on my site or posting junk in my contact form.

Thing is, for me to get the captcha working properly, I have to edit system files. And I really don't want to do that. -_- Considering that I eventually want to update this whole site to future versions of Drupal, editing core files is SO not a good thing to do. I've already hacked drupal.css and I have to keep reminding myself to put my modifications in the LOCAL css file instead. Knowing me, I'll probably forget >.> But on the other hand, I do want to change to a fully CSS theme eventually, so Drupal 5.0 will probably be the time for me.
