Sicky :( bad spammers & Quantum of Solace.
Actually, I'm getting better now. But yesterday I was pretty sick, and it sucked! I just sat here and ate a lot and drank a lot of fluids and took medicine. My body's already fought most of it off by today which is neat.
Poor Jon was sick longer than me. But he didn't even get any medicine. :( I should have bought it for him before but I was still all agoraphobic. I'm making him take the rest of my medicine now though.
Also: You people who are using my posts about sexual addiction to advertise an escort service are really messed up, k? I mean, that's like going to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting with a bunch of booze! "Hey guys, drink this! Your addiction needs quenching!!" :D :D I'm finding my CAPTCHA isn't deterring these, I had 3 distinct cases of this occurring. I will continue to erase them personally though, and if need be take greater measures!
Oh, one... er, a few more things.
We finally got our Playstation 3 from Amazon! My father-in-law bought it as a gift for my husband and me. An early birthday present, I guess. ^^ Jon's birthday is November 10, after all. *hugs her husband* I will have to write a thank you for my inlaws. Hmm!
Gah and it's cold right now. I wish I could snuggle him actually. Brrrr. Fall weather. It's actually colder in this apartment than it used to be in our old one, but that's probably 'cause we have so many windows. Going to have to bundle up and wear blankets and stuff when it gets winter-y.
Ah but back to the topic. We bought Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots to play with our shiny new PS3. So we may be kinda, like... very much absent for the next couple days. :D At least until Sunday 'cause I have Wardragon then, and also arranged a meeting in DR with a couple of friends in the White Rose.
Edit: Phantasy Star 0 is coming for DS in Japan. o.O I am half miffed because it's more PSO ish than pre-Phantasy Star 1, but... I still want it. :P Eventually!
Update on the move
Well, I've had a pretty hectic week and sadly, it's not even done yet. So don't expect me around till next week. :/
First of all, there were delays in getting the new apartment ready for us, so we had to wait for a few days for that. (Plumbing and etc.)
Then we finally had the clear to move but the movers weren't ready to go, so we could only bring what would fit into the car.
Except we didn't have a car any more, because apparently my old Saturn didn't pass the final inspection, and they basically told us ON the day we were going to move that my car had to be taken out of circulation.
So now my car's sitting in some junkyard somewhere, or already turned into scrap, after I obsessed for months over whether I'd ever get to see it again, whether it'd still work after sitting in a garage for all that time, and etc.
Back from going out :O
Today was better for going out, it was cooler (there was some rain). I had some stressful periods but mostly I was all right.
I went to a nice Spanish restaurant. Oh no, I forgot the name already. (Figures!) but I got to have paella again. I *love* paella. It's a dish with saffron rice and usually some chicken or seafood with it. We got paella de marisco, the seafood kind -- it came with a crab claw and a half-lobster, too. Jon's crab claw was so huge he spent half the meal trying to crack it, hehe.
We also got appetizers, mmm. A really tasty seafood pastry, and gazpacho soup. Jon was calling me a dork because I told him the only reason I knew gazpacho soup was cold was because of watching Red Dwarf. I guess it is kind of dorky. ^^;
Back from Montreal!
So I'm back~
And we've got a lease for an apartment in Montreal. We put in the deposit, and are pretty much guaranteed to get it (apparently the landlady really likes us). We need to send over a few bits of information though, because we forgot to bring some documents. Wah.
Kalli was saying she helped us out by thinking about us getting a nice apartment the whole time. XD Woooo, voodoo powerz.
But it's a nice place. It's within walking distance of my college, a grocery store, pharmacy, hell... plenty of malls and restaurants too. It has a laundry room (mine right now does not. :O) It's on a low floor, which I really wanted -- I preferred having no one living below me so I could DDR to my heart's content. XD It's probably doubly as big as our current apartment.
Montreal apartment hunting
I already wrote it out in my announcements *points to the left* but here it is again for those of you reading this through a RSS feed and such.
I'm headed to Montreal~ from June 17th to the 20th. That's starting tomorrow, of course. Jon and I are going there both to take a break from being at the comp WAY too much, and to go apartment hunting with the list we've compiled over the weeks.
I might be able to get online to post on journal(s), but no guarantees. Sooo don't expect me around till late on the 20th (or early 21st, if we end up taking the late bus).
If I do pop by it's a bonus, I guess! :P
Time to nurse my headache now though *whines at it* and play some Sims 2 before bed. I'm such an addict!
