Monday (yesterday, now) was not so bad, minus the fact I didn't really sleep enough. D: Mostly, I just ran a small Emberdays scene for Milena, which was short and slow (we often are), but fun. I couldn't run a full session because Grey was AWOL, but I'm happy 'cause everyone's in the right spot to come together next week now, AND I have more time to write stuff ahead of time (even maybe gasp, a few partially statted enemies. Dunno!)

I've been letting Kalli play my DR account, so she's been giving me accounts of how well Atma's training up. Before it was Lucylla (my Siren-alike). But I told her "plz train my weaksauce barb" and she was "all over that like flies on shit." XD Awesome. I'm so lazy I get my friend to train my DR charas for me, apparently! So Atmadja's at 14th now and Lucy is... 8th? 9th? Not sure.

(Deeper into this post I give a rambly review of Puzzle Quest for the DS. Read it! :D Puzzle Quest is PURE FUN. :D :D)

So Ryshia died again (in ADOM). Damnit! She was level 15 and died in the Caverns of Chaos. I found yet another monster vault... or lair... what're they? The ones that have lots of monsters but no artifacts... anyway! I found yet another one of many I found as Ryshia, except this one had mixed critters in it. Got a little too cocky and ran in, and what do you know?! I meet a master mimic. Paralyzed and died. ;.;

This was just below the Dwarven town by the way. Man, I've so lost my ADOM mojo... haven't gotten a char as far as the water temple in ages. :/ But it's harder now that I've sworn off save scumming. Sometimes you just get impatient or daring, and then... whoops! You're ded. :P

Well, Oira died late last night, wah. ;.; She got poisoned and I had no way to heal it... as a last ditch attempt I drank the only potion I had, which was a green one... stupid me! It was poison. Of all things. So she died. :( Ryshia's still around, but I'm probably going to work on other things today.

Also, we were supposed to play WD40K today, but I don't know if anyone even remembers. Grr. Means we won't play again for a couple weeks. I kind of fear for that game, sadly... I can feel people losing interest. *I'M* not, just that last week was a bad day for me.

Ancient Domains of Mystery is still my favorite of the roguelikes, after trying Nethack, Crawl, and various *bands. Not sure what it is about ADOM that appeals to me above the others... or it could just be that I've played long enough that I've figured out how it works. Not that this makes it any easier, though :D I've had my share of YASD (Yet Another Stupid Death!)

But before I say more about ADOM, I should talk about Grandquest! Which again was on the short side, but Kraken tends to run GQ on more of a 2-3 hour scale nowadays, due to needing more sleeps. But we got the boat headed towards Lookshy now, after a brief and silly tickle brawl that led to dancing and um... stuff! And just before arriving we came up with a plan to get the bow without actually paying for it. Naturally, the plan was mostly conceived by Lasuri, who is just that good at being sneaky. :D (Because Jon plays him, heheh.)
