Religion

I've seen more than one example now of people playing Zeniths that seem to equate the Unconquered Sun with the Christian God, and Solars as Jesus and/or his disciples. Something like that surfaced recently in a RP I'm in, and I find it difficult to suspend my belief whenever I encounter people playing Zeniths that way.

- First of all, it's totally OOC.
- Second, other gods in Exalted are not 'false'; the setting is bonafide polytheistic.
- Third, the UCS is not the Creator. The Primordials were there before him and the other Incarna.
- Fourth, the UCS is not perfect or infallible. Guess who's spending his immortal days addicted to the Games of Divinity? :P
- Fifth, there are other types of Exalted, Chosen by Luna, the Maidens, the Dragons. Are they now 'false' Exalts, too? Their powers are certainly real in the game setting!

Or morning I guess. I dunno. I didn't even get to bed until 6am ish, and read to Jon for a bit after that. (We're reading Fall of Angels, my favorite Recluce novel. Ryba, the marshal of Westwind and progenitor of the Legend -- which is basically a manifesto of female equality if not supremacy, I guess you could say o.O -- reminds me of a rather extreme version of Archana. In fact, reading it, I wonder just how much inspiration I drew from Ryba subconsciously, heh! Though Archa does none of the women vs. men thing, eh. That's irrelevant in most Exalted settings.)

But I really gotta work on UnshapedWiki, it's bugging me. =_= The sooner it is done the sooner I will be satisfied and rested.

I was supposed to run Emberdays today, but didn't. Mostly due to me not getting enough sleep and waking up in a horrible mood. Talking things out helped, but ugh, the root of what's bugging me is still there and won't be fixed soon. Partially due to my own fears and weaknesses.

Anyway, Raccoon was not there either, he probably ended up passing out from exhaustion cause he was up with me till almost 10 am, I think. I was sitting here reading Hearts of Ice cause I woke up after a nap at 6 am and was totally insomnic. Bah.
