Eni showed me some database programming stuff I'll need to start working on for her. I'm pondering what language I will use to do the database functions.

I was angry a bit earlier today. It was Tower related, and I'm simmering about it a bit but I think I'll just have to shrug and forget it. For whatever reason it's just a ded project, and people have their excuses for not joining. I have made others not so ded, yeah? And Tower might still be salvageable once I can inspire myself to write the profiles for all the canon (heh, Tower has canon) chars and decide what I'll do with multiple jobs and limit breaks in FFRPG.
I have this sudden urge to get into a blog community of some sort. But most bloggers aren't all RP-centric (and now and then web-centric) like me. Maybe a RP blogger's circle? Does it exist?! That would be so awesome.
Actually, that's where I got that Panty by Post link, by following links off someone's blogroll. Which I got off a list of sites that use Pivotlog. Heh, my entry's not quite random after all! It has a theme! :P
But I dunno, part of me is skeered of going more public with this blog, because people are scary and they will make comments. :( It's weird how I both yearn for communities (and seem to have a knack for creating them... sometimes) yet intensely fear angering or disappointing others, or being criticized by them. I mean, how do both urges even survive in the same brain?
I do think I'm going to go search for a RP bloglist of some sort though. Later. Now, I'm supposed to not be looking at the comp or worrying about my RPoL posts. (Crap, too late. ;.;)

I can't see why I an RP-centric blogger community doesn't exist. A lot of it might be D&D-based, though, since that's still the most mainstream RP mode.
If it doesn't, I'd totally pitch in with you to start one. There are enough RPers that I'm sure we'd get enough interest.

Mmmm~ I just don't know HOW to start a RP blog community. Since it'd be outside the usual free blogger sites, like LJ and such. I guess I'm not as awesome at figuring how to bring in traffic any more, since the intarwebz have changed a lot since I started out a webmaster (1997! whoa!)
Mostly right now I'm just peeking around for RP sites that list blogs. Maybe I could get into some sort of listing. I dunno.

Well, I guess it'd happen how anyone else starts communities? We flail about ineffectually until something sticks -- or, at least, that's the impression I always get from fledgling communities that turn into things.
Advertising shouldn't be too hard. This is the Internet, after all.
