Catchup RP post

Hum, I've neglected writing entries lately. o.o The weekend and Monday were just *crazy* for RP.

I've got a headache, so I'll try (and probably fail) to be terse.

Saturday

Lots of theworldrp posting. Finished a fun lil' thread between Kalli's Ed (from FMA) and my Juri. Coolness!

Started a thread with Hanabi (one of Miaka's charas, Miaka is the head mod or "Herr Mod" as I like to call her) and also another post, pertaining to Juri's little plan to call a meeting of all foreigners. I set the meeting to start when I get back from Montreal (more about Montreal trip next post).

I'm working on posting a modeling application for Juri, so she can have a job that doesn't suck. I have pix for it and everything. I was gonna post it today, but too damn tired.

While I was messing with all that LJ stuff, there was an Order of the White Rose meeting in DR. I was determined to make it, since I've called off Soul Collectors, and it was *so* worth being there.

I had way more fun than I would've with SC. Got to hang out with my friends in the Order and also find out some great news. A friend who left came back, a White Rose ball next month... oh! And Talli got a reward for writing that Prydaen document I made a while back. It was the first reward of the new reward system that the Order's apparently getting. We get this band that we put charms on that symbolize outstanding service to the Order. Talli's first one is "for a job well done".

Of course, I or Talliska didn't do the Prydaen document for reward, nor will I be doing any other things in the Order knowing I'll get rewarded. It's a lil' tacky to give rewards like that as incentive, I think, but some people just don't get motivated on their own. ^^; On the other hand, it was a real surprise and Talliska appreciated it a LOT.

Later on Sat (practically Sunday morning) I ran a bit of Emberdays for Selina, too. Valeriya got to meet Miral at the pool, finally, and I got to write lil' bits about Miral's girls, too. I like them, they're interesting charas to me. I'm not sure if they'll live through the game, though. :P

Sunday

Sunday was... more Juri and Hanabi posting. (I'm not sure it's very good posting, on my part. I kind of screwed up that thread I think. :P)

I bitched at Kalli for a while about stuff. Actually, we talked a LOT that day. Like almost the ENTIRE day. Crazy ^^;

And then...! Another bout of DR. There was another Order of the White Rose event and I decided I could go to it too, and at least idle there while I tried to write posts. It was Manze's tanning lecture (Colloquiums is what Halcier has been calling those) and was pretty fun and informative, actually.

The only part that was a little "eh??" was some guy telling Talliska not to recruit for the Order during the event. He thought it was a Mentor event, not an Order one. *boggles!* Well, that got set right, though, so it didn't make me boggle for long.

I found out Talli sucked at tanning anything more than moccasins (which she could only make home-made with eel skins) though. Bah.

During the event, I was expecting to end up in an Exalted game or two, but neither of them ran. So I got to hang around in DR longer! Originally Jon and I were gonna try to do Alexsei's resurrection quest, but couldn't because Halcier had to leave at the last minute. (After Alexsei finally got his constellation jewelry for climbing, and we had others to help Alexsei get through the dangerous areas of the quest.) We really want Halcier along -- it's been YEARS since we've talked about doing it -- so Jon decided to put it off again and plan it on the Order boards.

After that I was just chatting with Kalli some more and scripting on DR a bunch. :O

Monday

Not much theworldrp stuff. Everyone was lazy. :O

I did some posting on the Order of the White Rose boards, mostly about necromancy and how the Order ought to handle it. It's an interesting topic, and one worth pondering what with the whole Veyne and the ringbearers thing going on (Veyne is a necromancer, the rings are a symbol of those who support him.)

Also, Emberdays! Yay! I ran a wee bit for Kraken (in which I totally *snoozed* in the beginning and ended up writing really slow at first, so sorry ;.;) and a bit more for Jon and Grey when the latter came along.

Kraken's part was mostly Milena leaving the party to talk to Daran. I didn't get to do much of the actual talking. :( However, I did get to write a big ol' infodump spam answering Milena's question about the balance of power between the Houses of the Realm right now. That was an interesting exercise and pretty much solidified for me how I'm going to have the Houses side with each other (or not at all) in the beginning.

...though I just realized I shouldn't have had Damanchina so cold to Valeriya then. Eeeh. It's ok. Peleps will be Peleps. :P

Jon and Grey's part had Lim and Iesan going back to the main body of the party with Rajani. They found out some sekrit stuff! And now are trying to do something about it. My favorite part of that scene was playing Iesan's wife Najira, it was all "aww" worthy. Sigh, I'm a romantic.

Basically Iesan had to go and grab Najira and arrange for her safe escape. But Najira normally sees her husband as this socially inept, cowering buffoon, so it was all "!!!" when he was suddenly all intense and determined to make sure she got away. I was all cheering Iesan along in private, he really scored some points with the wifey there. XD We discussed beforehand that it'd be great to have them eventually love one another truly, instead of it being this kinda "meh, we have an agreement, but live in completely different parts of society" thing.

Also I got to have Rajani commit social faux pas. Woo, nothing like having a pirate be an asshole, always livens up a scene! :P

So now I gotta do the rest of Valeriya's scene, and the rest of Miral's scene, and then I can get everyone together with the MAIN EVENT (which took me what, 2 freaking months to get to? Wow, I SUCK!) I hope it will not be over much and that the PCs can actually feel like they're making a difference, 'cause I seem to have this tendency in Emberdays to create challenges that seem near insurmountable.

Mmm ok, I got more wordy than I thought, but I'm done now.
