An exercise in sleep deprivation... apparently.

Wow I've slept like 3 hours... this is bad. Geez...

I ended up working on this: the Soul Collectors Forum. Hrm. O.O It's really a forum for only like... 5 people... well maybe 6 or 7 if Wally and/or sis ever join later on. But forums still take some time to tweak.

I used MyBB. I had to do some manual updating of the BlackGold layout I used, through the Template -> Find Updated function in the Admin CP. There's actually three skins installed, one of which is a dark one, but the BlackGold one is the main one.

Other than that I spent a great deal of time finalizing all the information for the game. That included figuring out things like "what in-game year does SC actually start in", "how DID the Underworld end up uniting" and so forth. I think I did fairly well, though the funky Malfean-fusing idea might come across to some people as weird / too convenient. It's actually rather L5R-ish, like the Lying Darkness, now that I think of it. I guess that was the intention... more of a primal, formless darkness than a bitter angsty bunch of dead primordials. :P

My god but I'm so sleepy! I just hope this gets me to sleep earlier instead of later... I *always* end up pushing myself too hard. And right now I am kind of pondering updating Drupal... hrm... if I could figure out that last niggling tag organization thing that's bugging me. Gah.

Ooooorrrr I could update Dokuwiki. It looks like the current version is the finalized one, which is good 'cause then I don't have to think of updating it for a few months. Those darn update reminders keep bugging me, rawr!

At least I have something that can work passably like Photoshop, if I need to redo graphics for darksiren.net... I mean, it's Photoshop ELEMENTS, ooooo, like Photoshop's dumbed down brother or something, but whatever works. I ended up using it to make my silly little Soul Collectors logos. I didn't end up installing my horrifyingly huge font collection (3k fonts, wtf?!) so I just used the ones that came with my copy of Vista. :P

*wobbles* man, am I going to make it through today? n.n I needa go out and get a few birthday presents for friends... sadly, I haven't thought of one for Kraken yet, though I already know what to get for Lumi and Eni. I'll just nag Kraken again later about a present. Hopefully he has *some* sort of idea or I can prod him towards one, though I'm pretty certain it will get there late... as will most of the other presents, probably. Stupid, lazy me. :O
