I'm totally beat though so I don't know I'll really be around much till tomorrow. I have Wardragon then anyways so I'll be around pretty much all day Sat. playing that. Also updating all my RPoL posts, and writing info for Dynastic Moon. I'm a busy writin' lady.

Jon and I really had a great time, two of our best days together in a while. :D We stayed at a nearby hotel, as I mentioned, a great and high rated one. Not like, super expensive though. Just enough for what funds we had. We even got a suite upgrade for a small cost, so we spent a lot of time just lounging and relaxing in the room. We watched a movie there (Taken with Liam Neeson, which I really enjoyed actually, for reasons I may explain later) and lots of Star Trek and Stargate. Lol, we're dorks.

Oh, and for my birthday dinner, we went to a steakhouse and pigged out! We had another one of those chop-chop poutines at Reuben's, and I had a 'Montreal cut' ribeye steak with rice pilaf. So good. We brought home some tasty cake (mine was white chocolate layer cake, om nom nom) to eat at the hotel.

Then today we were out all day in the underground malls in Montreal. I did my birthday shopping. :) Dark Spire still isn't out, so I just got some new shoes, an awesome pashmina scarf, some capri pants, a pretty tank top and this awesome light weight greenish-grey coat with an interesting cut... I just picked up and went "Wow. This looks cool. And it's $30." So I got it. ^^;

We were on our feet for half the day at least, exploring Montreal's underground tunnels as far as we could walk, stopping now and then to browse stores, sit and have some coffee or a bite to eat. I have to say, I actually really like living in this city. Now that the worst of the immigration stuff is over, I might be able to get REALLY used to it here.

Well, time to kick up my feet a bit (I'm also going to play PSU later -- the only exception to my 'not being around' cause Friday nights are PSU nights, and there's more Shred the Darkness event to play)! Maybe we'll even sit out on the deck and listen to more 90's nostalgia music and have a drink. It's a *really* nice day today, I have to say. And Sunday is supposed to be even better! So we may go on a picnic then, too, since Wardragon is on Saturdays for now.
