Yesterday, or this morning, I stayed up reading all of YU+ME:dream (well of what's available so far). It's a pretty comic... the art style improved so much over each issue. I thought that not knowing what being "gay" means was a little too naive of the main char, and there are some convenient plot points and cliches. But the story and art and characters still really drew me in, and I finished it in one sitting.

Oddly the fact it's billed as a lesbian comic didn't really cross my mind until after I was done reading it. Heh... but I think love should not be limited by gender, so, that's probably why. The only limit should be personal preference, IMO. [Edit: Not that I think my opinion has any impact on anything... and I really need to stop editing this post obsessively. I guess I feel kinda weird writing about stuff I don't know much about. i.e. being straight myself, and all.]

I was poking around through wikipedia just now. I forget how I started out, but I was looking through all sorts of sites... from gemstones to flowers, chrysanthemum leading me to a page about Japanese emperors, and thereafter to NHK taiga dramas.

I miss watching those so much. ;.; I was so spoiled living in the Bay Area. Every weekend I could watch jdramas subbed on KTSF, a San Francisco based channel. The taiga dramas were always my favorite (year-long dramas based on Japanese history, huge productions with period sets and costuming and well-known Japanese actors), and I've long been wishing I could get a complete subbed collection of the taiga dramas based on Nobunaga and Hideyoshi.

Just a heads up to say, I prolly won't be around today... Maybe late at night (9pm EST? or later?) but no guarantees. I just feel like a lil bit of isolation and video gaming. 'Course I'll be back tomorrow, for sure. I don't miss GQ unless I have a good reason to.

Also, my stupid body is continuing it's shitty sleeping habits so I'd probably fall asleep in the afternoon again anyway. *sigh* Only slept 4 hours... I could possibly go back to sleep, but I'm thinking of going out to look for Stella Deus (PS2 SRPG localized by Atlus) first. I have this HUGE urge to play it lately because I found out it's by the same people that made Hoshigami (a SRPG for the Playstation 1).
